Lit Youngstown
Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre will serve as Lit Youngstown’s bookstore of choice for their annual Fall Festival. It is Lit Youngstown’s largest event, hosting hundreds of readers, writers, educators, translators, students, editors, and booksellers in a welcoming and dynamic environment. It is a conference for:
writers to hone their craft and learn more about publishing
readers to hear authors read their own work, and discover new favorite authors
authors and translators to share their work
educators to share scholarship and best practices
students to learn from experienced scholars and published authors
editors to get books into the hands of literary enthusiasts

Join us for a generative poetry workshop with a friendly and supportive community of writers at Elizabeth's Bookshop & Writing Centre. Whether you're new to poetry or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop offers a welcoming space to explore language, voice, and creative expression.
In the spirit of our mission to amplify and celebrate marginalized voices, we encourage writers from all backgrounds to bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the page. Through guided writing exercises and community connection, you'll discover new ways to craft poems that speak your truth.

Bell Tower Brewing Crafty Crawl
The annual Crafty Crawl is set for Sunday, April 27, 1-5pm! Bell Tower Brewing Co. is featuring 16 awesome artists, with a delicious lineup of craft beers and scratch food menu. Plus, they are sponsoring a progressive printmaking activity where you can create a 4-color print! Each brewery will have a stamp for you to add a layer/color to the image. Start at any location, and in the end, you’ll have a complete print to commemorate the event! The design is by local artist J. Annie Williams. This activity is free and offered while supplies last.
